Stage 4, The Cantabrian Natural Way
In this last stage we leave Burela to continue along coastal paths next to the sea until we reach Foz. We leave behind the ‘Praia de Llas’ and the ‘Praia da Rapadoira’ to go around the Foz estuary, enjoying some very beautiful paths until we reach the other side and enjoy the entire coastline of Barreiros. We go along charming beaches of fine sand, with an orography that makes them special and where we find the monumental ‘Praia das Catedrais’ with its spectacular arches and vaults. The route continues along the sea until you discover the fishing village of Rinlo (capital of the ‘caldoso’ rice dish), which you cross through its narrow streets and then continue in search of the two lighthouses of Illa Pancha. Two kilometres further on we reach the bridge ‘Ponte dos Santos’ and Ribadeo, a town full of life, with a rich gastronomy, monuments to discover and its peculiar indian houses.
