Stage 8, The Northern Way

This is a comfortable and easy stage, which, like most of them, runs along paths, roads, tracks and trails, all of which offer great views.

On leaving Unquera there is a fairly demanding climb, the cuesta del Canto. From there you reach Colombres to follow the path that will take you to the ‘Bufones de Llanes’.

From the town of Llanes to Ribadesella, the route first runs along coastal paths and then goes further into rural areas, all of this with cyclable terrain and moderate gradients. This stage has many places to enjoy the route.
